They need more calories per pound of body weight than adult cats, and their daily allowance is smaller in absolute terms because they are smaller animals. Delectables® Squeeze Up® Kitten is 9.8 kcal per tube, slightly higher than the adult Squeeze Up® recipes at 7.4 to 7.9 kcal. When using Squeeze Up® Kitten as a treat it should count directly towards the daily caloric kitten requirement for healthy growth. Check your kitten's daily calorie needs with your veterinarian, since they change quickly during the first year.
